We recently got the chance to interview Ericka who is a 17 year old that attends FPC Buford, about something that she has a passion for, which is traveling. One of the things that has sparked this interest in her was Biblequizzing. While memorizing Bible verses she would read about the different places and all the wonderful miracles that took place there and she wanted to go see those places for herself. One of her favorite Bible verses is James 2:19. Ericka this past year has traveled to 7 different states, but her favorite by far was California due to the food and the views, she has hopes to live there one day. The first place she remembers traveling to is Arkansas, after taking this trip it definitely increased her hunger to travel more. The most recent place that she has been to is Pigeon Forge Tennessee. While traveling is a lot of fun it does require a lot of work and planning. A tip that Ericka strongly suggests is to plan everything out to the smallest details. Go through each day and plan the activities that you would want to do because this will eliminate a lot of the chaos. She has found this to make her trips a lot more easier and less chaotic. A dream travel destination of Erickas is to go to Greece, the architecture there is so beautiful and captivating. A piece of advice that she wished she knew earlier is the phrase “A glow stick has to break before it glows”. “ If you have had thoughts of traveling but are too scared to just simply do it. I used to be the exact same way up until I forced myself just to go on one trip and ever since I haven't stopped !!!”
